Black Adam was released in October of this year and it performed pretty well. The movie was also a huge gift for all the DC fans because it brought the Man of Steel back into the DC universe. Furthermore, this movie also seems to set up the battle between the two of the most powerful, unstoppable forces in the DC universe Superman VS Black Adam.
It always has been a dream of every DC fan to witness the battle between the Man of Steel and the Man in Black. And the debate about who is more powerful or stronger has also been going on for a long time, however, now it seems that we know who is more powerful, and to be honest I think we all knew who it was.
Dwyane Johnson has put a long time going strength debate between the two most powerful forces to rest in a video that he posted on Twitter.

Although the Black Adam star has always teased that his character will bring change in the hierarchy of power in the DC universe and jokingly hinted that Black Adam is more powerful but recently he uploaded a video on Twitter where he admitted that Superman is the most powerful unstoppable force of all time in any universe.

He said in the video, “if we’re going to establish Black Adam as the most powerful, unstoppable force in the DC Universe, we have to bring back the most powerful, unstoppable force of all time, in any universe, you guys know who I’m talking about, of course, that is Superman, and that’s Henry Cavill… there’s no viable, logical way that you can attempt to build out the DC Universe with the most powerful force and the greatest superhero of all time sitting on the sidelines.”
That may already settle the battle between the two GOAT characters but we still eagerly wait to see their battle on the big screen. Moreover, Dwayne also talked about how he along with the President of Seven Bucks Productions Hiram Garcia, and Co-founder Dany Gracia talked with Warner Bros to include Henry Cavill in the film.
He stated that WB was not planning to bring Cavil back as Superman in Black Adam however, he said, “we weren’t gonna take no for an answer.” And they did get their way. We got the short cameo of Henry Cavill’s Superman in the film and it was really a powerful comeback for the Man of Steel.
Furthermore, it seems that it was kept secret from everyone including the movie stars because Aldis Hodge who portrayed Hawkman stated that he only found out about the cameo a few days before the movie’s premiere.
Henry Cavill returns as Superman
Fans were in the dark if Cavill will reprise his role again or not but thanks to Dwayne and others who fought for Cavill’s return, he is finally back with his iconic Superman character. And after his cameo in Black Adam, there have been several rumors suggesting that the new Superman movie is in development.
Furthermore, Cavill also stated that his character will bring more hope than it did in the past. Certainly, we want the best version of Superman now that he will be battling with someone who is nearly as powerful, unstoppable, and stronger as him.
However, even though there were rumors stating that the Superman film is in development, James Gunn and Peter Safran have taken over the DC studios as the new CEO and they will be presenting their 10-year plan for the DC universe, and the fact is we don’t really know if they will include plans for Superman or not, Gunn has confirmed that they will present their plan to WB within next two months and hopefully, they will have a plan for Superman.
