It seems that we are close to getting the MCU’s team read on the big screen sooner than we expected. Matt Murdock, Charlie Cox’s fan-favorite character, already appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and it is now rumored that he will reprise his role as Daredevil in the new Spider-Man film. However, it seems that Spider-Man is not the only film he will be appearing in.
Marvel Studios is working on some huge movie projects including Deadpool 3 which is expected to be released on November 8, 2024, starring Ryan Reynolds along with Wolverine star, Hugh Jackman. And it seems that Charlie could be appearing as The Man Without Fear in the film.
Charlie Cox says Daredevil could show up in Deadpool 3
Cox will be reprising his role in several MCU movies and series. He appeared in the She-Hulk series and recently he discussed his possible appearance in the upcoming anticipated film Deadpool 3. At German Comic-Con held in Dortmund, Cox said, “Because of the tone of our show, I think there’s a place for Daredevil to show up in Deadpool. Would be really cool.”

Although Charlie did not confirm his appearance in the film, we could get Daredevil to make a small cameo in Deadpool. And just like Cox said, it would be really cool. However, given the current state of the MCU, there is also a slight chance we will get Daredevil’s cameo in Deadpool, just not the Cox version but Ben Affleck’s.
Especially because there were rumors Marvel contacted Affleck for a cameo as Daredevil for Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Big Screen Leaks twitted, “For obvious reasons, I was asked to keep this a secret but Marvel did indeed reach out to Affleck for a cameo as Daredevil. They sent out preliminary contracts to his team but i’m not sure if anything came of it.”

Furthermore, there are several variants of each character, we’ve already seen variants of Loki, Spider-Man, and Dr. Strange, so it’s only natural for Matt Murdock to have his variants.
However, it is very unlikely as there are no rumors of Affleck joining the MCU, and he also did not appear in Multiverse of Madness.
Will Charlie Cox really appear in Deadpool 3?
As mentioned above, Cox just teased his cameo in the upcoming MCU film Deadpool so we can neither confirm nor deny Cox’s statement. Since we don’t know anything regarding the plot of Deadpool except for Wolverine appearing in the film.
Before Deadpool 3, we will get a reboot of Daredevil and we still don’t know what its story or plotline will be so if he really will have a cameo in the film, we might get something in Daredevil: Born Again.
Moreover, there are also rumors that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 is in advanced production and expected to be released July 12, 2024, and Cox is said rumored to make a cameo in the film as well. So, who knows we might as well get Cox’s Daredevil in Deadpool 3.
Keeping all else aside, Daredevil’s cameo in Deadpool 3 seems like a really good idea to finally bring the MCU’s team red together.
