TV series with the most excellent romance couldn’t have been completed if this couple didn’t exist there. Now let’s look at some of the most fantastic pairs that made TV shows filled with romance. Let’s have a look at these love birds.

Coach Taylor and Tami, Friday Night Lights 

If we look at the history of the TV series, we can find the three versions of the TV show; the 2006 television series, the 2004 film adaptation, and the 1990 nonfiction book. And the story that made a mark on most of the fans was of the couple Coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and Tami Taylor (Connie Britton).

The couple was the favorite of the fans, and Friday Night Lights also portrays the perfect picture that happens mainly in the lives of Americans. In the movie, we can find the image of family values, racism, drugs, and abortion which occurs mostly in the lives of Middle Americans. These two characters perfectly portrayed the roles and communicated to the world. Even Alan Sepinwall stated, “one of TV’s most realistic and loving couples.”

Edith and Archie, All in the Family 

Back in the day, to be more specific, the 1970s was a moment of these lovely birds who kept their audience entertained the whole moment, Archie and Edith Bunker. The TV show All in the Family portrayed a beautiful picture of these love birds and showed how love is strong even on rainy days.

Archie (played by Carroll O’Connor) is a loveable person and is also known as a “lovable bigot,” but he keeps on struggling with the frequent changes happening in the world. Lucy and Ricky, I Love Lucy 

I Love Lucy when the series first premiered on CBS in 1951, the couple Lucy (Lucille Ball) and Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz) quickly stole the spotlight because they portrayed something that people had never seen before. The show gave some groundbreaking results to the team but to reach there, they had to take some of the most challenging routes.

“CBS and its sponsor, Philip Morris cigarettes, were adamantly opposed to this; they said that the American public would not accept Desi as the husband of a red-blooded American girl,” said Kathleen Brady, the author to NPR. Imagine if they had topped the production!

They would’ve been so wrong. The show was so lovely and was the favorite of the viewers that almost every TV viewer welcomed this show back in 1953. The show was epic, and after its release, it changed the route of TV shows. The show was so good that it made their audience smile for six years.

Marshall and Lily, How I Met Your Mother 

How I Met, Your Mother was a series that gave some romantic ideas to couples, like putting nicknames such as; Marshmallow and Lilypad.

Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) might not have been the show’s main characters, but they stole the spotlight with their iconic romantic story. Ted is the show’s main character, and when he tells the story of these two love pairs, it’s where the real story begins.

By the end of Season 2, these college friends married each other, and after a few seasons, they welcomed new members to the family. In Season 7, we could see Marvin being accepted into the family; after two more seasons, we could see Daisy being introduced. Homer and Marge, The Simpsons 

The Simpsons might have been an expert on telling the future, but they also share an iconic romance in the series.

The Simpsons made their first appearance on December 17, 1989, many decades have passed, and still, the relationship between Homer (Dan Castellaneta) and Marge Simpson (Julie Kavner) is running strong. The show is still running, and they also announced the release date of Simpson Season 33, which means it doesn’t look like the show is going to stop any time soon.

Paul and Jamie, Mad About You 

Mad About You was about the chemistry between the New York pair, Paul (Paul Reiser) and Jamie (Helen Hunt). And just like the title says, they were with each other because not every relationship has a smooth flight off.

Mindy and Danny, The Mindy Project 

Mindy (Kaling) and Danny (Chris Messina) showed a relationship that gathered the attention of many fans from across the world. When you take a look at these couples, you get a great sensation of love but when the couples fell apart it looked like things were going to get brought but fans were sure that they were going to end up together once more.

Miranda and Steve, Sex and the City 

There are lots of characters in Sex and the City, but the couple that stole the spotlight was Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Steve (Cynthia Nixon).

When Miranda met Steve as a bartender, we knew what was going to happen. Just like normal relationships, the couple also went through some breakups but Steve had to went through something that made the couple reconnect again. Later on, Miranda got pregnant and she decided to keep the baby which was later named Brady. You might debate with us because the series had other characters but let’s be honest, this couple was the one that stole our hearts.

Sam and Diane, Cheers 

Not every couple has a happy ending and that’s what Sam (Ted Danson) and Diane (Shelley Long) have shown to their fans in Cheers. 

Taking a look at the series, the couple was very different from the start. Diane was a writer but was working as a cocktail waitress and Sam was just a bartender. The one thing that remained an obstacle between them was sexual tension, this became the main reason why their attempt to be in a relationship failed.

The series took a last shot during the final season, and you got it! The final shot was worth it and the couple went to marry in a beautiful sunset, but they realized that they were never meant to be together. The final series was worth watching, the season almost connected 85 million viewers, and became the second most watched series final.

Fran and Mr. Sheffield, The Nanny

That’s the same case that happens with Ned (Lee Pace) and Chuck (Anna Friel). Pushing Daisies showed us some scenes where there are restrictions and the couple can’t hold hands, kiss, hug, or do other things. Ned is a pie maker who has the ability to bring the dead back to their lives but the only problem with his ability was, if he would touch the undead, they’d die ‘permanently’.

Ned’s childhood crush was murdered and Chuck came back to life, but they couldn’t have any physical contact with each other. They shared their love and affection through their imagination and portrayed a beautiful picture to their audience. Well, the show gave an interesting plotline to their fans, the couple kissed each other through the plastic wrap and that kiss was one of the Bets Kisses in the history of TV.

Louis and Jessica, Fresh Off the Boat

Louis (Randall Park) and Jessica Huang (Constance Wu) were the spotlights of the show, Fresh Off the Boat with their three kids. And the story of this couple was just way different from other couples. The personality of the couple is wat different but the division was the part that kept the fans entertained the whole show.  The whole show was entertaining because of the unbalanced couple.

Bob and Linda, Bob’s Burgers 

The series is iconic because Bob’s Burgers is the series where they run a hamburger restaurant. The main spotlight of the show is focused on their children and the show also holds importance on the role of Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and mom Linda (John Roberts).

Bob is a caring dad and mom Linda loves to live a life where there is part and is more enjoyable, The pair might be different and unique to the viewers, but that’s what has connected the fans with their viewers. The couple might be weird but that’s what was love about this show.

Jane and Michael, Jane the Virgin

Poussey and Soso, Orange Is The New Black 

Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black was the perfect series that portrayed pictures where characters find love heartbreaking. And to set that picture in front of their viewers, Poussey (Samira Wiley) and Soso (Kimiko Glenn) played vital roles in the show.

The show featured love scenes on same-sex couples, but it took a while for Soso to embrace that while Poussey was already sure of her sexual orientation. Just at the moment when Soso was embracing and was finally getting it, Poussey was murdered. Everything went to chaos after that event but they had the best moments and their relationship was the strongest one in the series.

Most of the time they never come true, but they also come true, and (Adam Brody) and Summer (Rachel Bilson) are the perfect example of that. The story starts in their school where the love starts to grow between a nerdy guy and the beauty of the school.

Both find differences about each other as they start to get in, Seth finds that she was as cool as she appears to be, and Summer finds him way more complex than she had imagined in the first place. The show is truly worth watching and if we had the chance to rewatch the show again, we would sure watch it!

Rob and Sharon, Catastrophe 

Unplanned pregnancy was the result of the one-night stand, but that was also the reason which grew the emotions and feelings of love between these two love birds.

The show is filled with unplanned things, just like their pregnancy, but Rob (Rob Delaney) and Sharon (Sharon Horgan) will show you that even after just a one-night stand, love can grow strange and can result in better outcomes. The couple will show you that not everything is perfect in life but even in such an incident you can find true love, and for that, you just have to be there for each other.

Kristina and Adam, Parenthood 

Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause) are the perfect pair that have fought with every challenge in Parenthood. The couple had three kids but they’re not lucky to be normal like most of us are. One has Asperger’s syndrome and Kristina has to fight her breast cancer as well.

Adam gets on his new business, meanwhile, Kristina starts a school for people who are suffering from various disabilities. There are many lessons that we can learn from this couple, even though there were many hardships on their journey, they stayed by each other’s side and went through them together.

They faced many challenges together and even celebrated many achievements together. The couple was brave and they set a perfect example of what a strong family actually looks like.

Hank and Peggy, King of the Hill 

We can get the best example of the best couple by looking at Hank (Mike Judge) and Peggy (Kathy Najimy) from King of the Hill. The couple had set various examples for audiences and they gave more to the fans than they would’ve expected.

Hanks was the man of the family, and he had to take care of his business, the “propane and propane accessories”. Meanwhile, Peggy was a Spanish substitute teacher. Hanks didn’t have many ideas about the modern generation and Peggy’s nature was the best that handled the anxious and confused nature of Hank. King of the Hill really showed us a beautiful picture of relationships.

Damon and Elena, The Vampire Diaries 

Here it comes! Another love triangle for the fans and this time the boys who fall for one girl are actually vampire brothers.

Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena (Nina Dobrev), and Stefan (Paul Wesley) stole the spotlight of the show, the show is still considered to deliver one of the best love triangles to appear on TV. Both of the relationships were perfect and fans might say that she would’ve been better with Stefan but we all know in deep that Damon and Elena was the perfect relationship in the series.

Ian and Nina also had some chemistry between them behind the cameras, which makes the show more interesting. Isn’t it worth watching when you know that they actually love each other in real life as well?
